Having your corporate art collection regularly valued and maintained is essential to avoid unforeseen losses. Often, the maintenance and collation of a corporate art collection is a duty inherited from a previous employee. As time passes and staff turn-over, damage and losses can easily occur through incorrect care. We have had the privilege of providing valuations and inventories for St George Bank, ING, Exxon Mobil, Telstra and Hewlett Packard to name a few, we have the experience and expertise to provide a complete service for corporate clients. We can provide complete inventory listings, market and insurance valuations, condition reports and storage solutions.

Allow us to help you put together an art collection tailored to your taste and budget. Art collection and investment is not limited to a wealthy elite, some of the finest collections have been created through a very careful and strategic process. More often than not it will be the works that you don’t buy as opposed to the ones that you do that will make your collection a refined one.

Purchasing through auction can be a daunting process. Even the most seasoned art buyers make mistakes before, during and after auction day - mistakes which result in less money in your pocket. With over 10 years experience as an auctioneer, seller, bidder and buyer, I can help you work your way through each step to ensure that your purchase is the best available at the lowest possible price. We offer different packages depending on your needs:

 * Auction Assistant:

Matt Henry Art Broker and the client work together to achieve a successful artwork acquisition. This service is for those who have the time and want to be part of the research and inspection process of finding an artwork with assistance when you need it, as often as you need it.

* Research and Acquisition:

We do all the legwork, research and analysis with the client only required to view nominated artwork. The client has the final acceptance or rejection of any artwork submitted by Matt Henry Art Broker. This service is ideal for the acquisition of investment artwork.

My strategies and tactics will give you a winning advantage. Having a trained and experienced auctioneer bidding on your behalf is an invaluable resource. Knowing when to bid is critically important, but more critically, it is knowing when not to bid and winning the heated post-auction negotiations that wins the day.

With the art landscape changing so frequently, it is important to maintain records for insurance purposes. With over 10 years experience as an art valuer we can prepare up-to-the minute Insurance Valuations to ensure that your art portfolio is under no risk. When preparing for the sale or acquisition of a work, Matt Henry Art Broker’s written Market Valuations can assist in informing you if the price being asked or offered is in line with current market value
