Matt Henry has worked in the Art industry for over 14 years. He has been an Art Specialist for auction houses in both Sydney and Melbourne.

In recent years Matt has conducted complete inventory valuations for a variety of corporate collections including ING, The St George Bank, Telstra, Hewlett Packard and Exxon Mobil Australia.

Matt has catalogued well over 100,000 works of Australian Art and been associated in the production and printing of catalogues for over 30 major Australian Art Auctions.

Matt has successfully run his own Art Dealing Business since 2003 and is  “Approved to value Australian paintings, sculpture, prints, drawings, photography and ceramics, 1915 to present for the Australian Government’s Cultural Gifts Program.”




After completing a Bachelor of Art Theory at COFA in 2004, Nadja Kabriel had an immediate impact on the exhibiting scene establishing pop-up exhibiting company Afera, and establishing The Dentist exhibiting space. After holding several successful exhibitions of young artists work to favourable reviews in the mainstream media, Nadja stepped into the secondary market and accepted the position of Head of Paintings at Lawson Menzies. This culminated in the consignment and sale of two key Streeton Venetian scenes for $420,000 and $280,000.

In 2007 Nadja accepted the position of Sales Manager at Sydney's Savill Galleries which she held for 2 years, gaining invaluable experience working in one of Australia's busiest and most successful commercial galleries.

Nadja became a partner in Matt Henry Art Broker in 2009.

Please browse through our extensive and ever-growing artists pages where you will view important works by Australian artists such as Fred Williams, Robert Dickerson, David Boyd and Leonard French. MHAB also offers contemporary investment art by popular artists such as David Bromley, Mclean Edwards and Martine Emdur. An area of specialty for MHAB and growing popularity in the market are Australian abstractionists such as J.S Ostoja Kotkowski, Stanislaus Rapotec, William Rose and Syd Ball. MHAB frequently sources excellent quality Hermannsburg watercolours by Albert Namatjira Oscar Namatjira and Otto Pareroultja.
